Environmental activities and Environmental policy

Environmental activities
ISO mark

We believe that one of the most important issues facing our business operations is finding ways to contribute to local communities through our economic activities; namely, the sale of industrial chemical products. For this reason, we worked hard to obtain ISO 14001 (environmental management) certification and we will continue working hard to maintain it.

Our current certification status is as follows:Head Office/Tokyo Branch: Certified February 2012, activities ongoing
Sendai Branch: Certified February 2011, activities ongoing
Hachinohe Sales Office: Certified February 2011, activities ongoing
Akita Sales Office: Certified February 2011, activities ongoing

Environmental policy

Basic principles

As a member of the local community, we will fulfill our social responsibility to prevent environmental pollution while engaging in ongoing environmental improvement efforts through our main business activities, which are the development, manufacture, and sale of industrial chemical products. Further, in the interest of environmental conservation, we play our role as a trading company to collect information from our end users and suggest ways that our partner manufacturers might improve their manufacturing technologies and product performance as we work to provide the society with the products it wants using environmentally-friendly production methods.

Action guidelines

We actively utilize the PDCA cycle in our environmental management activities as we carry out environmental and safety management in the course of upholding corporate ethics and fulfilling our corporate social responsibility.

1. Compliance with environmental regulations

We ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations as we engage in sound corporate governance.

2. Preventing environmental pollution while making ongoing environmental improvements

We consider the environment in all of our activities, products, and services, practicing sound environmental management with the following key themes in mind:
1) Introducing environmentally-friendly products
2) Redoubling efforts to ensure safety in manufacturing work
3) Reducing and making more efficient use of resources and energy
